Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Announce Trailer Dropped

If you haven’t already heard, the action game on the PlayStation platform, Death Stranding, is getting a sequel. Kojima Productions revealed that there will be a Death Stranding 2 two years ago. The announcement was made by the studio at 2022’s The Game Awards where it also shared the teaser trailer.

Fast forward to today (or February 01, 2024, to be precise) at SIE’s State of Play, Kojima Productions dropped the announce trailer of Death Stranding’s sequel – now officially called Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Official words:

“In DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected? Step by step, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima changes the world once again.”

Norman Reedus who voices the protagonist Sam Porter Bridges returns for the sequel, along with Léa Seydoux as Fragile, and Troy Baker as Higgs Monaghan, the main antagonist of the game. Fans will be thrilled to know that Yoji Shinkawa, the lead character and mecha designer for the Metal Gear series will direct character and mechanical design.
