Spider-Man: No Way Home formerly introduced the concept of the multiverse into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and soon, this aspect will be further expanded on with the second Doctor Strange movie, aptly called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

A couple of days before Christmas, Marvel Entertainment dropped the official teaser for the upcoming movie.

“As seen in the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios has officially debuted the teaser trailer and poster for the highly-anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — a thrilling ride through the Multiverse with Doctor Strange, his trusted friend and Sorcerer Supreme Wong and Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch.”

So, yes. Wanda will be one of the key characters in the movie, bringing with her the story that had happened in the Disney+ series, WandaVision. In addition to the official teaser, Marvel has also shared the first poster of the movie.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the title character, Doctor Strange, Benedict Wong (as Wong), Rachel McAdams (as Christine Palmer), Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Mordo), along with newcomer Xochitl Gomez who played America Chavez, and Elizabeth Olsen who reprised her role as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch as she did in the Avengers and WandaVision.
