We hardly do electric guitar here, but when we do, you can be sure it is going to blow your mind, well, mostly. Anyways, such is the case with this crazy awesome ESP Godzilla Guitar Awakening Version. Originally designed for Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and the frontman of Japanese rock band THE ALFEE, Takamizawa Toshihiko, the ESP Godzilla Guitar Awakening Version features a guitar body in the image of the iconic kaiju, appropriately 3D as far as possible without interfering with the usability.

The infamous fictional monster is appeared to be roaring because, awakening (duh!), and lit with glowing purple – courtesy of purple LEDs. The menacing creature’s tail spans the entire length of the 24-fret fingerboard/neck, which further boasts red LEDs embedded in it, before finally ending headstock in the shape of Godzilla tail tip. A LED on/off switch is cleverly integrated next to the output jack on the kaiju’s left foot. Breathtaking.
