You know what is the greatest pain Batman’s arch nemesis, Bane, experiences? Probably not the gas mask that he wear to continuously suppresses his excruciating pain; it is probably how he have to witness an ice cream melting before him because he can’t eat it (because of the mask). Ok. I get it. That’s a lame joke, because Bane can eat and drink. All he have to do is to remove the mask and feed himself the painkiller externally, presumably as he consumes his meal. But that doesn’t take away the fun of Fools Paradise interpretation of Bane sulking over a fast melting ice cream he held in his hand and standing next to a coin-operated kiddie ride of the The Dark Knight’s iconic ride, the Tumbler. The camo one, of course. The matte black is still with the cape crusader.
The Last Hire, as this vinyl collectible is called, features a top heavy figure Bane with requisite crazy bulging muscles and all that (a la Mr. Incredible fashion), presented in lowfool stand-up stance. The figure stands about 13 inches (33 cm) tall and as before, it is of a combination of vinyl, PVC, ABS, resin, and textile materials. Only 398 pieces will be made available worldwide, priced at $295 per set. If you want one, you will need to pre-order it between May 9 (00:00 hrs Hong Kong Time) and May 25, 2017. Pre-orders are expected to be fulfilled sometime in Q3 this year.
