What you see here is the Godzilla (2002) Shonen-Ric Exclusive Figure, straight from the 2002 Toho film, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (ゴジラ×メカゴジラ). Part of the Toho Large Kaiju series, the Godzilla (2002) Shonen-Ric Exclusive Figure is massive! It stands around 27 cm (10.1 inches) tall and measures about 47 cm (18.5 inches) from head to tail.
Godzilla (2002) Shonen-Ric Exclusive Figure is a vinyl figure in a face-off with enemy pose. The figure, which is made by PLEX, is sculpted exactly as it has appeared in the movie, featuring larger, sharper spine and jagged skin. Additionally, it feature light up LEDs in the dorsal fin. The light up function is powered by 2x AA cells which is not supplied.
Both Shonen-Ric Japan and Shonen-Ric USA is taking pre-order for the 16,900 yen (about US$162) vinyl figure from December 10, 2020 to January 12, 2021, 1700 hours. Delivery is expected to happen in May 2021.
