Just last week, we expressed our skepticism if Hasbro’s first crowdfunding collectible, the Star Wars Vintage Collection Jabba Sail Barge, will get funded. Well, the good news for fans is, not only did it got the 5,000 backers it was seeking, but the campaign has concluded with 8,840 pre-orders! Holy cow! It has more than doubled its original number of backers in just 10 days. Congrats to all Star Wars fans who have backed the campaign. Here’s what to expect next:

Hasbro Star Wars Vintage Collection Jabba Sail Barge Funded

“In addition to your order confirmation email, you will receive a shipment notification email once Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna): Behind the Workbench booklet is on its way to you. At that point, we will also charge your preferred payment method. If your card is declined (this happens from time to time), you will receive an email letting you know that we cannot process your order. You will have 3 business days to call our Customer Service team to update your information.”

But for those who have not backed it, the bad news is, the ship has set sail. From here on and out, backers can drum their fingers anticipating its imminent arrival sometime in February 2019. It is a long wait, but I am sure it be well worth it. And also, get ready your card to drop $500 for this baby soon. Wait. You haven’t told your wife yet? Well, sorry that we can’t help you out on that. It’s, what they say, a domestic issue. Keep going for a few more looks.
