In this week’s “don’t say we did not tell you,” Hasbro’s Transformers Platinum Edition Trypticon Figure is now on sale on Amazon, priced at $120.21. It is not exactly a fire-sale sticker, but considering that it originally cost $169.99, you are getting quite a saving of nearly 50 bucks. Top that off with free shipping deal, any Transformers nuts who hasn’t own this should really consider bagging this. However, do not confuse this with the new Titans Return Trypticon Figure announced earlier this year. The Transformers Platinum Edition Trypticon Figure now discount on Amazon is a reissue Trypticon offered as a Platinum release. But that’s all the more reason to grab one since this is consider the original design, the icon that started all, well, at least it is as far as Trypticon is concerned.
Features you can expect include 3-in-1 figure boasting dino, battle station and city mode, walkable in dino mode, and easy transformation in six steps. Then again, everything was simpler before it was complicated by Michael Bay anyways. Not that I am complaining… Anywho, the Transformers Platinum Edition Trypticon Figure comes with the Trypticon figure (obviously), Deception Full-Tilt figure, Brunt Tank vehicle, along with weapon accessories, scanner accessories, blaster stands, a pair of loading ramps and connectors, and instructions. We are not sure how long this discount is going to last, so if you have been wanting to add the classic Trypticon into your collection, we’d suggest you act on it quick. In case, you are looking at the new Trypticon… it is cheaper at $146.49 (as opposed to $149.99), but as you can see, the price hardly warrants a shout out.
