The 1/6th movie-accurate DeLorean Time Machine from Hot Toys a few years ago is back from the future! However, unlike 1/6th scale The Dark Knight Batmobile, this is not a re-release; it is a sequel i.e. it is DeLorean Time Machine that flies.

Superfans of the franchise should be thrilled. I know I am. The Hot Toys Back to the Future II 1/6th Scale DeLorean Time Machine will be the perfect companion to your 1/6th scale Marty McFly and Doc Brown figures.

It is loaded with screen-accurate details like the realistic cables snaking across the exterior, a detailed cockpit with the familiar time machine equipment including the iconic flux capacitor, time circuits display, and overhead panels – just to name a few.

And then there is the all-important Mr. Fusion on the detailed engine cover on where the trunk used to be, the opening gull-wing doors, and my personal favorite, rolling wheels that are foldable to recreate the flying mode.

The collectible vehicle comes with a specially designed base that allows you to display the DeLorean Time Machine in its flying mode.

Rounding up the package are multiple light-up points, including the headlights, rear signal lights, undercarriage, and reactor cooling vents.

Like the first DeLorean Time Machine, the Hot Toys Back to the Future II 1/6th Scale DeLorean Time Machine is enormous, stretching a cool 72 cm long (28 inches or 2 feet and 4.346 inches).

As breathtaking as this collectible toy is, it is not for every fan because it commands a princely sum of around US$825. That’s nearly 80 dollars more expensive than the first version.
