Fans of Boba Fett and The Book of Boba Fett are not lacking merch to buy. In addition to toys, a game controller, sneakers, there is now an action figure. But this action figure from the maestro of collectible figures is not your regular action figure; it is a quarter scale.
This means it is huge. The Hot Toys The Book Of Boba Fett Boba Fett 1/4th Scale Collectible Figure, as it is called, towers at an impressive 45 cm tall (17+ inches) tall and boasts no less than 30 points of articulation
The figure, as the product name suggests, is based on the infamous bounty hunter’s appearance in his solo TV series, The Book of Boba Fett. The figure comes with two heads: one helmeted head with articulated rangefinder and one without the helmet featuring the likeness of actor Temuera Morrison who played the titular character in the show.
Weathering and distressed effects come as standard with this figure and so are interchangeable hands and tailored undersuit.
It also comes with a bunch of accessories including the bounty hunter’s blaster rifle and pistol, jetpack with magnetic function and detachable rocket, flamethrower effect accessory, and my personal favorites: “hologram” pieces of Boba’s palace and his starship.
The Hot Toys The Book Of Boba Fett Boba Fett 1/4th Scale Collectible Figure is set to hit the market sometime in Q2-Q3 2023.
Two versions are offered: standard and deluxe edition. The latter comes with a diorama figure stand with elements found in his new palace throne room such as stairs, window grills, and whatnot – complete with battery-powered LED light-up function.
Meanwhile, you may pre-order the figure from online retailers like Sideshow and Big Bad Toy Store for US$515-US$640.
