This one is for all Boba Fett heads out there. Continuing the celebration of The Empire Strikes Back’s 40th Anniversary is a pair of Boba Fett-themed adidas Top Ten Hi kicks. Presented in “trace green” of the galaxy’s infamous bounty hunter’s armor along with details that replicates the battle damage on the armor.
There are touches of secondary colors, namely brown, red, and yellow, found across the hi-cut kicks too. Perhaps the most striking features are the brown pouch on the lateral ankle that is a nod to the bounty hunger’s utility belt. Those are not it.
There are the textured tongues with a special “Boba” tongue tag, interchangeable lace deubres which you can choose between olive “Boba” and “Fett” or silver “Star” and “Wars” motifs, and Boba Fett’s badges on the heel and medial collar.
Rounding up the design are steel grey midsoles and outsoles, Boba Fett graphic on the insoles, and the quote “You can run, but you’; only die tired” on the inside flap.
Each pair of Boba Fett-themed Star Wars x adidas Top Ten Hi Sneakers comes with a commemorative poster and the shoes itself are packed inside a shoebox that resembles the packaging that would find with an action figure toy packaging.
It is not clear when it will drop in the U.S. (or ever). However, Star Wars x adidas Top Ten Hi will arrive in the U.K. on September 24th for £84.95 (about US$112).
