Well, what do you know? Michael Keaton’s Batman has gotten the love of Hot Toys and fans will have The Flash feature film to thank because Keaton’s Batman has quite a part to play in the upcoming DC Comics superhero film.
The toymaker has revealed that it will be offering Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) 1/6th Collectible Figure. Featuring Michael Keaton’s appearance as Batman in the movie, this highly-detailed figure features a newly developed Batman head sculpt with independently rolling eyeballs and interchangeable lower faces.
Unfortunately, it does not come with a cowl-less head sculpt. But I am sure third-party toymaker will have a solution soon enough. Anyhoo, the figure boasts the newly designed Batsuit and it will come with a host of accessories including a grapple gun, a gauntlet with a line launcher, and rope attached Batarang – just to name a few.
The Hot Toys Batman (1989) 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure is offered in two flavors: Standard and Deluxe. The latter includes a diorama base of a corner of the ruined church roof with a rotatable sculpted statue while the former gets a display base. The corner features stones with incredible texture and detail.
The Hot Toys Batman (1989) 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure stands around 30 cm (12 inches) tall and has 30 points of articulation.
It is scheduled to release sometime in Q2-Q3, 2024. If so desire, you can secure a copy of the Hot Toys Batman (1989) 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure by pre-ordering it from toy sellers like Sideshow. Expect to shell out upwards of US$279 for one.
