If you love JDMs, you are going to dig this car, well, I mean a die-cast car. What you see here is Hot Wheels Collectors’ latest RLC Exclusive sELECTIONs die-cast collectible, the Hot Wheels Collectors RLC Exclusive sELECTIONs 1972 Nissan Skyline H/T 2000GT-R.
The car model is pretty much self-explanatory for any car nuts. It is the precursor to the 90s Godzilla (not the Kaiju) that we know and love. This casting is chosen by Hot Wheels RLC members. It is the second sELECTIONs winner for 2023 after the ’82 Lamborghini Countach LP 500 S released in July.
The Hot Wheels Collectors RLC Exclusive sELECTIONs 1972 Nissan Skyline H/T 2000GT-R draws inspiration from the iconic first-generation “Hakosuka” design, featuring distinctive modifications that include a unique hinge mechanism for the hood. This modification enhances the authenticity of replicating the JDM muscle car masterpiece.
The 1:64 interpretation of the legendary ride features an opening hood that opens to reveal a detailed engine, and it wears a Spectraflame dark purple body color with graphics including authentic manufacturer logos, #2 racing number, and “RLC”.
The die-cast collectible has a ZAMAC body type on a full-metal, matte black painted chassis with light smoke-tinted windows, a molded black interior, and rolls on Real Riders racing wheels with bronze hubs.
It does not have a display case like the first sELECTIONs but it does come with an illustrated blister card and is packed in a Kar Keeper clamshell case.
