This time, Mattel and Milestone S.r.l. invite you to take the driver’s seat in your favorite Hot Wheels diecast vehicles and race across unconventional terrains. You can zip across the dining table, pass your morning orange juice in a jar, leap onto the lawn, and more, all in addition to the usual orange tracks. This kind of reminds us of the 90s Micro Machines video game.
The latest installment of the racing game franchise has returned with fresh energy and exciting new features. With a roster of over 130 vehicles, which now includes motorbikes and ATVs, and the introduction of five new racing environments, the game promises a more diverse and dynamic experience. Players will find themselves devising new driving strategies, such as lateral dashes and jumps, to navigate the ever-changing landscapes. That’s right, my friends. Your Hot Wheels ride can jump and sidewipe rivals out of the way, which sounds like an absolute blast to me.
A story-driven campaign adds depth to the game, complemented by a range of new and engaging game modes. The multiplayer aspect has been enhanced with Cross-play support, online ranking, and an anti-cheat system for PC players. Additionally, players can unleash their creativity with an updated track editor and a collection of fresh stickers for customizing vehicle appearances.
The new Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged Video Game is set to release on October 19, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games. For gamers who feel the need to play with a real person, yes, the game does have online gameplay where you can play with up to 12 players. It also supports offline split-screen play for two players.
