Inspired by Morgan three-wheeler and pre-war race cars, Tim’s custom trike is actually a BMW R100 rear end married to front end of a quad bike.

It features a ton of custom parts, including the obvious star of the show, the hand-formed aluminum body which is a nod to BMW automobiles with its BMW Z3-inspired CNC machined, polished side grilles.

It has a stock R100 rear end, but now fitted with a “period-looking” tire while the front gets a set of wheels pulled from an Austin motor vehicle, but with custom stainless steel spokes.

The engine is, of course, an air-cooled R100 motor. Though it is not clear which variant and from which year. A couple of other notables include an original BMW rev meter and a saddle from a Triumph Bobber.
