Kawasaki “Noslisu” Three-wheeled Electric Vehicle

Kawasaki, the Japanese brand famous for fire-breathing Ninjas that eat asphalt for breakfast, also makes… a tricycle. Yep, you read that right. But before you picture a kid’s toy with tassels and a SpongeBob horn, hold on. This isn’t your toddler’s trike.

The Noslisu is a pedal-assist reverse trike—a setup you’d normally see on high-performance motorcycles that want to look cool while avoiding faceplants in tight corners. That said, Noslisu’s body design is based on motorcycle design technology.

And stand out it does. With two wheels up front and one at the rear, the Noslisu looks like a Ninja had a lovechild with a delivery bike. Built with Kawasaki’s motorcycle engineering know-how, it rides like a dream and corners with poise, thanks to a patented twin-wheel steering system that keeps you stable but nimble.

Powering this quirky contraption is a Panasonic-made center motor that offers three riding modes and up to 103.1 km (64 miles) of range per charge. It’s got a new truss-style frame that’s easy to step over, semi-upright handlebars for a comfy posture, and a solid rear cargo rack for your daily haul—yes, groceries count as cargo now.

Other spec-sheet details include 20-inch wheels, disc brakes front and back, a built-in wheel lock, and a 250W brushless DC motor (it’s a Panasonic motor, btw). The whole thing weighs 31.4 kg (69.2 lbs) and supports a max load of 95 kg (209.4 lbs).

Available in Japan since March 15, 2025, the Noslisu has a starting price of 398,200 yen [JP] (which is about US$2,727 according to the current going rate). Anyhoo, this is one ride that proves not all trikes are for toddlers. In fact, according to the marketing materials, it is the opposite; it is targeted at older folks. Cool ride either way, IMO. How else do you think it ends up being featured here? More looks at this awesome trike after the break.
