Although life goes on for hardcore Playstation fans who missed out on the opportunity to own a 20th anniversary retro colorway Playstation 4, the stinging soreness of missing out the limited sale, or winning one, remains, and let me tell you this as a big Playstation fan: the feeling sucks. The soreness will be forever there even as we go about enjoying our regular Playstation 4 because the significance of that rig goes beyond the colorway. It is a reminder, a homage to the game console that changed how we game. This being the 21st century, not all hopes are lost. You can probably get a pre-owned set on eBay or Craigslist, at a mind-blowing price, or you could turn to this Indian company’s creation: Nova Starke Limited Playstation 4 Slim Retro Game Console.

Don’t be misled by the lighting; it is indeed that lucrious nostalgic gray.

At a glance, it looks pretty much like the official limited units you missed, except for the fact that it is the newer Playstation 4 Slim (not the first-gen PS4). Also, it does not have the distinct PS logos on it and while it does get the retro-listic, multi-color PS logo on the console, the included Dualshock 4, which is also dressed in the same nostalgic gray colorway, does not. Similarly, you won’t be getting the whole nine, which means the lack of the commemorative packaging. And we are not sure if the associated accessories that come standard with a PS 4 Slim will be color coded in gray.

The lighting don’t do justice to the gray is wore, but you know what you will be getting…

Anywho, if you are up for it, you can acquire the Nova Starke Limited Playstation 4 Slim Retro Game Console from Nova Starke website for Rs. 50,000, which works out to be around US$745. Quite a hefty price, but if you really want to good’ol gray look and the latest PS rig, then this is it. Oh, one more thing. There are only 50 units to go around which means they are not going to stick around for very long, and so, try not to procrastinate for too long.
