This is it, Universal Pictures has just dropped the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion, the long-awaited sequel to 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the third movie in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise.
As the title said, it does contain one important spoiler. That said, folks who are annoyed by spoilers, this is your cue to turn away.
For those who don’t know, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is described as “the epic conclusion of the Jurassic era” which means Dominion is the end of the road for the Jurassic Park franchise.
And oh, as eagle-eyed fans may have noted, Legendary Entertainment is not in the picture like the previous two movies.
Basically, the movie is set around four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in which the genetically engineered dinosaurs were let loose on the U.S. after an incident relating to an illegal auction of the creatures.
So basically, the plot revolves around how humans are living alongside these dinosaurs (probably constant fighting, I guess).
It has long been known that three key characters, Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant, and Dr. Ian Malcolm played by Laura Dern, Sam Neil, and Jeff Goldblum, respectively, from the original franchise, are set to appear in the movie. Well, they were in the trailer that kind of shows what they are in for.
There is also the appearance of a scientifically accurate dinosaur that is feathered. Nice.
