If you love coffee and SMEG appliances, then you want the Lavazza A Modo Mio SMEG Coffee Machine. The two Italian brands – one best known for fridges and the other, a coffee brand known the world over – has come together to offer this beautiful coffee machine.
Unlike some collaborations that merely slapped the brand names on existing products, the Lavazza A Modo Mio SMEG Coffee Machine has the unmistakably SMEG design language. If you ask me, it makes for a perfect companion with your SMEG fridge in your kitchen.
The classy and somewhat retro styling of this coffee machine is combined with the authentic Italian espresso Lavazza is best known for.
Key features include removable dishwasher-safe components, adjustable cup rest removable for taller mugs, brewing time of under 30 seconds, 0.9L water tank capacity, empty water tank alert, used capsule collection draw, and used capsule collection drawer alert.
Unfortunately, the Lavazza A Modo Mio SMEG Coffee Machine does not appear to be available in North America yet. It is listed on Lavazza’s U.K. site for £199, but as “product not available.” Coming soon, perhaps? However, we noted that it is available in Italy now for €229 (which works out to be around US$278) as well as in Australia for 349 AUD.
