LEGO 75318 The Child Construction Set

You hear it is coming. You have seen images of it in the wild and today, official words are out. We are talking about the LEGO 75318 The Child, aka Baby Yoda, straight out of Disney+’s The Mandalorian.

The set consists of a healthy 1,073 pieces and when completed, it measures a cute 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall, 21 cm (8.5 inches) wide (thanks to the ears), and 13 cm (5 inches) deep.

As you can see, shelf space, it does not demand. And that is pretty dang cool IMHO because, the Mos Eisley Cantina, if you are getting it, will have already consume much of your shelf real estate.

As if having a detailed brick-build version of Baby Yoda ain’t awesome enough, LEGO has given it a posable head, movable ears, and wait for this… an adjustable mouth!

Though not officially branded as an Ultimate Collector Series, the LEGO 75318 The Child is definitely one, as it does come with an information plaque and a LEGO Star Wars miniature of The Child. And yes, it does also include the silver ball The Child plucked out to play on the spaceship.
