Super fans of Batman, you will want to hear about this. There is going to be a new LEGO Batmobile coming your way. The best part is, it is not based on the modern day Batmobile; it is ride of choice of Adam West’s Cape Crusader, the 1966 Batmobile.
The LEGO 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile lets you build the TV series’ 1955 Lincoln Futura concept which the Batmobile was based on. OK. The LEGO 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile is not exactly the 55’ Futura, but hey, it does look pretty spot on.
In any case, I thought it looks more like a “collector” set than the Batmobile found in the LEGO 76052 Batman Classic TV Series Batcave from 2016. From the looks of it, it looks very UCS-ish with the included displays and and information plaque.
Also included with the set are minifigures of Adam West’s Batman and Cesar Romero’s Joker. The set, however, does not appear to include the Bat’s sidekick, Robin.
The LEGO 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile is not official yet. But it was founded listed by a retailer in Vietnam by Brickfanatics. No official words on the availability and the price. Though the said Vietnamese website listed it for 1,049,000 Vietnamese dong which works out to be around 45 bucks based on today’s going rate.
