Another historic structure has joined the LEGO Architecture series. This time it is the 690-year-old Himeji Castle that has been immortalized in plastic bricks, joining the likes of the Great Pyramid of Giza, Taj Mahal, and more. And boy, is it looking fantastic!
LEGO Architecture Himeji Castle (21060) uses 2,125 elements to recreate the iconic Japanese landmark, packed with authentic, instantly recognizable details, including the castle’s turrets, walkways, asymmetric walls, and a simplified interior layout which you can admire by lifting the top of the main building.
The build also includes a LEGO brick interpretation of the surrounding gardens, including 3 buildable cherry trees, 2 with green foliage, and 1 with pink cherry blossoms. When completed, the build-and-display model measures over 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 12.5 in. (32 cm) wide, and 10.5 in. (27 cm) deep.
The LEGO Architecture Himeji Castle (21060) was released on August 01, 2023, for US$139.99. Recommended for ages 18 and up.
