LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile (76355)
LEGO revisits Tim Burton’s Batmobile with a smaller 2,269-piece model that drops its side panels to reveal the Batmissile from Batman Returns. Yes, really!

Well, what do you know? There’s another Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman. But this one, called the LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile (76355), does not annoy me like the Batmobile Tumbler (76240).

The new 76355 is not an improved design of the old 76139 (as was the case with the Tumbler. Ugh). This new set, as the product name suggests, is based on the sequel Batman Returns.

While the first wowed fans with its large number of elements, three minifigures, pop-up machine guns, and rotating display, the new Batmobile is more compact and loses two minifigures—it is just Batman now—but gains the feature depicted in Tim Burton’s Batman sequel: the Batmissile.

At the press of a button, the side panels pop away—like a space-going rocket letting go of its booster units—to reveal Batman’s narrow Batmissile, which allows him to escape through a narrow passageway.

In addition, it contains six hidden Easter eggs, including the Penguin’s tracking device, plus an exclusive Batman with a newly moulded cape and cowl, along with a display stand.

Like its predecessor, it also has a sliding canopy that opens to reveal a realistic cockpit with a steering wheel and controls.

The 2,269-piece LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile (76355), when completed, measures 45 cm (17 inches) long, 17 cm (6.5 inches) wide, and 10 cm (4 inches) high. It is set to drop in September 2026 for US$229.99.
