But probably not the 240 dollars set. Instead, you would probably want to pick up the LEGO Land Rover Classic Defender (40650). That’s right. There’s going to be another brick-built Land Rover.
The LEGO Land Rover Classic Defender (40650) had me at hello. It may have just 150 pieces to its name but man, this model looks absolutely spot on as far as interpretation of a classic Land Rover. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Land Rover Series I, this brick-built model boasts many details from the real-life version, including the roof rack, headlights, Land Rover badget, and side-view mirrors.
The only con I see is the use of decals for the grille. It would have been nice if we could have some actual grille. Just saying… When completed, the model measures over 2.5 in. (7 cm) high, 4.5 in. (12 cm) long, and 2 in. (6 cm) wide and comes with a driver minifigure to pilot this awesome classic. Perfect for father/mother and son/daughter bonding time. Or the perfect excuse for dad or mom to buy the 10317 if he/she has yet to buy it.
