Good news fans of natural history, specifically the museum that educates on the natural history of mankind and our little blue marble, because LEGO has just revealed a super exciting architecture set featuring, well, a natural history museum.

The largest modular set by piece count (a whopping 4,014 pieces, to be precise) and a highly requested theme by fans, the LEGO Natural History Museum (10326) Building Set is a two-story model featuring impressive architecture, innovative building techniques, and captivating exhibits.
It is part of the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection and the first-ever museum to join the Modular Buildings collection which includes LEGO Icons Jazz Club (10312), LEGO Icons Boutique Hotel (10297), and more.
The museum showcases a giant brick-built Brachiosaurus skeleton, various exhibits, and a geology section on the first floor. The second floor features a map of the planet, an orrery of the solar system, and a diorama of a future space base. The roof houses the museum curator’s office.

Speaking of the roof, the model building boasts skylights that allow light to permeate its 2 levels, illuminating the huge brachiosaurus skeleton – just like what you will see in an actual natural history museum. The set represents a journey from the past to the future, celebrating significant moments in world history.
But the inside is not the be-all and end-all. The outside is as impressive as the inside; there’s the window cleaner’s suspended platform, a pair of facade banners, a couple of minifig statues flanking the grand entrance, plus a bench, fence, a tree, a lamp post, and even birds – basically, the typical things you will see outside of such educational places.
Included with the set are 7 minifigures, featuring the museum curator, the cleaner, the window cleaner, and visitors. All told, when completed the 4,014-piece model measures over 12 in. (31 cm) high, 15 in. (39 cm) wide, and 10 in. (25 cm) deep.
