You probably heard that they are coming. Well, they are official now. We are talking about the official LEGO buildable Star Wars model helmets, featuring the iconic Stormtrooper, Boba Fett and TIE Fighter Pilot.
They are build-to-display sets much like most of the UCS models LEGO have introduced so far. Meaning, they are NOT playable, let alone wearable. In other words, they are sculptures and we are totally cool with that.
Speaking of display… each model come with a bespoke base plates and name plaque for displaying in all its villainous glory.
As for those who desire for a wearable LEGO helmet, the only way to go is to custom build one like Brickatecture mod industries have been doing.
