LEGO is a constant and when mixed with any pop culture of our time, it can only spell awesome and the 71006 LEGO The Simpsons House Set is one such awesome. no kidding. i practically grew up with The Simpsons, not even South Park can detract me from familiar phrases like “you suck-diddly-uck, Flanders.” anyway, here it is, the ultimate marriage between two things we adore: LEGO and The Simpsons, and the result is a 2,523-piece of masterpiece waiting to be built, featuring removable roof and hinged in the middle that opens up to the innards of Homer family’s habitat with all the details as you have remembered from the 25-year-old TV series. it comes with the mandatory garage too, complete with workbench, tool rack, vacuum cleaner, broom, toolbox, tools and the all-so-familiar pink family car with the signature dent.

and oh, there is also the ‘radioactive’ bar from the nuclear plant which Homer unknowingly brought home. on the outside of the house, you will find even more familiar objects such as the grill, wheelbarrow, Bart‘s skateboard ramp, garden loungers and more – some even marked with ‘Property of Ned Flanders’ sign. basically, this 2000+ pieces set has everything that defines The Simpsons family. The Simpsons House, when built, measures over 23 cm (9″) tall, 42 cm (16″) wide and 24 cm (9″) deep, and each set comes standard with six minifigures, including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Ned Flanders. the LEGO The Simpsons House Set also marked the first time LEGO features molded sleeves and shorts on the minifigs. the LEGO The Simpsons House Set is available now from LEGO online store for $199.99.
