Ever wished for a super large flat screen display, but do not wish to deal with a hunk of glass that would mar your contemporary and minimal interior? Well, if so and you are feeling damn freaking rich, then LG CineBeam AI ThinQ 4K Laser Projector might just be the answer. Clearly not the first and only in the market, it is however another option – if money is no object. More on that in a sec.
First debuted at CES 2019, the LG CineBeam AI ThinQ 4K Laser Projector is LG’s first ultra short throw 4K UHD project is designed to be placed just 7.2 inches (18.3 centimeters) from the wall and projecting up to a massive 120-inch 4K image at a bright 2,700 ANSI lumens. The design is LG typical kind of sleek, i.e. very nondescript and minimal, and thus needs no further up sell.
Other highlights include HDR10 high dynamic range capability for far deeper blacks and more life-like bright highlights, IP control with Control4, Creston, and Savant products, new optical system with three-channel laser for separate RGB primary colors for vivid color reproduction, support for Google Assistant, and LG ThinQ AI solution built-in for seamless control and content discovery using voice commands. Each unit is supplied with a LG Magic Remote that is also the world’s first to incorporate both motion-based user interface and backlit functions.
