So you think the cable channels in some hotels suck? You’re not alone. Many travelers would rather squint at their phones to binge-watch their favorite shows than endure another night of obscure local news or reruns of Friends. But LG is here to change that—at least if your hotel is smart enough to install its new Google Cast-equipped Hotel TVs.
Unveiled at the recently concluded ISE 2025 (4 Feb 2025 – 7 Feb 2025), LG’s latest hospitality TVs come with built-in Google Cast, letting guests stream content from their phones, tablets, or laptops without the usual login nightmares. Just scan a QR code on the screen, and boom—your favorite shows are on the big(ger) screen. No sketchy shared logins, no worrying about forgetting to sign out, and most importantly, no more flipping through 40 channels of nothing.
LG also flexed its hotel tech dominance by reminding us that their TVs were the first to support both Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, making them the ultimate middle ground for iPhone and Android users. So whether you’re streaming The Office for the hundredth time or trying to convince yourself that watching Interstellar in a hotel room at 1 AM is a good idea (hey! we ain’t judging!), LG’s got you covered.
Now, if only hotels could do something about those mini-bar prices.
