LG X power2 Android Smartphone Unveiled Ahead of MWC 2017

Up to today, battery life per charge is still a nagging problem in smartphone. A large screen smartphone can hardly power through weekends, let alone a day without charging. However, LG wants to change that with what the handset maker refer to as “mass-tier” device called LG X power2. LG X power2 is the first mass-tier X series to be unveiled this year. If you recall, the X series was marketed as specialist smartphones when it was first introduced last year, each touting a ‘strong’ feature and this year’s X series is no exception. Speaking of ‘strong’ feature, X power2’s selling point would be its 4,500 mAh battery which, when fully charged, is good for up to 15 hours of video playback, 14 hours of navigational direction, or a whopping 18 hours or so web surfing.

Given those numbers, it is safe to assume that if you use it conservatively, it is quite possible to work through the weekend without charging. However, when it needs to be charged, the onboard high-speed charging technology enables 50 percent battery power in just an hour and another hour to get it to full charge. I was expecting something even more groundbreaking in terms of charging, but I guess a “mass-tier” device will be, well, a mass-tier device. Anyways, also featured on LG X power2’s 5.5-inch HD in-cell touch display is Comfort View, a technology that minimize the amount of blue light which has been known to cause eye fatigue.
