Here’s another G-Shock news for Coca-Cola-loving collectors. G-Shock and the world’s most famous cola beverage maker have teamed up for a pair of limited edition Coca-Cola-inspired timepieces that marries the iconic G-Shock silhouettes with the vibrant spirit of the world’s most famous cola beverage maker.
The two wristwatches are DW5600CC23-4 and DW6900CC23-3. As the model name implies, the former is based on the iconic square G-Shock, DW5600, while the latter is based on the most recognizable round digital timepiece from G-Shock, the DW6900.
The DW5600CC23-4 is a striking timepiece for those who want it loud. The unmistakable red branding lends the iconic silhouette a bold and striking aesthetic. Save for the watch face, the entire watch is in Coca-Cola red – including the digital display.
The iconic words “PROTECTION” AND “G-SHOCK” are in white, serving as a perfect contrast against the vibrant red watch and so is the red on the function labels and the Coca-Cola branding. The DW5600CC23-4 may not shape like a can of Coke but the colors gave it the vibe.
The DW6900CC23-3, on the other hand, is modeled after the unmistakable charm of Coca-Cola’s classic green glass bottle. The watch is rocking a super cool transparent clear case, bezel, and watch band, contrasted by a white watch face with function labels and Coca-Cola branding in red.
The front-facing light button is off-white with a white G logo. The DW6900CC23-3 has another trick up its watch face; when the EL backlight is lit, it reveals the silhouette of a glass Coca-Cola bottle in red.
Both wristwatches have a stainless steel case back engraved with Coca-Cola branding alongside the usual watch information.
