Medicom Toy’s MAFEX line of collectible figures has announced a new Darth Vader based on the Sith Lord appearance in one of the best Star Wars spin-offs ever, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures).
The figure, called MAFEX Star Wars Darth Vader (Rouge One Ver. 1.5) Figure (MAFEX No.211) is a screen-accurate figure, right down to the iconic helmet, and stands around 160 mm (6.3 inches) tall. The figure has been updated with new parts and boasts a lightsaber with effects and a poseable cape afforded by embedded wires. Each figure will come with a figure stand.
The MAFEX Star Wars Darth Vader Rouge One Ver. 1.5 Figure is slated to hit the shelves sometime in November 2023 for 9,680 yen (about US$70-ish).
Folks residing outside of Japan can pre-order the figure from retailers like Big Bad Toy Store (US$99.99), Hobby Link Japan (U$72.43), Oh My Primus/Dew Toy Store (S$104), Plaza Japan (8,867 yen or about US$64.50), Hobby Genki (7,647 yen or around US$55.60).
