Electric scooter, aka as electric skate scooter, is never known to be associated with speed, but that does not stop Xiaomi from having a collab with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team for the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition.
Obviously, this Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team co-branded electric vehicle will not hit anywhere near 233 mph, but it is a ride for users who have a passion for F1 racing and/or Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.
As an electric scooter, it has 600… watts peak power and maxes out at 25 km/h. The motor enables up to 20% incline and the onboard battery provides 45 km of useful range.
Aesthetically, it sports a grey paint job with classic silver color reminiscent of the iconic Mercedes racing cars. Xiaomi said “the lines on the scooter adopts an aerodynamic design reminiscent of a sports car,” but honestly, we can’t see the slightest silhouette.
Thankfully, there’s the turquoise accent and engraved Mercedes-AMG Logo on the scooter board to remind you that this ain’t your originally Scooter Pro 2.
Other notables include a beautifully integrated multi-functional control panel, electric brake and disc brake, shock-absorbing inflatable tires, aviation-grade aluminum alloy frame, and it is, of course, app-enabled.
The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition is available to buy in Europe, priced at €799 (around US$968).
