One Piece season 2 is dropping on March 10, so it is time to get all hyped up, and wielding Zoro’s katana and Going Merry blaster seems like a good idea. Well, if you concur, Hasbro’s NERF and Netflix have you covered with the franchise’s first-ever line of blasters and role-play gear inspired by fan-favorite characters and elements from the live-action show.
NERF has teamed up with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios to turn Straw Hat energy into foam-firing, sword-swinging reality. The debut lineup includes the NERF One Piece Going Merry Blaster and the NERF One Piece Zoro’s Katana assortment, featuring Sandai Kitetsu, Wado Ichimonji, and Yubashiri. In other words, your living room is now one step closer to becoming a chaotic pirate training ground.

Let’s start with the Going Merry Blaster, a foam dart blaster inspired by the Straw Hats’ beloved ship. This is not just a repaint with a logo slapped on it. The blaster carries a pirate-style design and even comes with a clip-on holster, so young pirates can pretend they are sailing between couch islands. It uses hammer priming, fires NERF Elite foam darts, and includes eight darts in the box. Operation is simple: load one dart from the front, pull back the hammer, and fire. It is made for kids aged eight and up, but let’s be honest, adults are going to “test it” too.
Then there is Zoro, a man who solves most problems with three swords and zero directions. NERF is bringing all three of his iconic blades into foam form: Sandai Kitetsu, Wado Ichimonji, and Yubashiri. Each katana measures 24 inches, or 609 millimeters, long. They feature a foam blade with a plastic core and a foam hilt, so you can swing dramatically without redecorating your house with drywall dust. These are designed for ages six and up and are meant for role play, cosplay, and heroic backyard nonsense. Each katana is sold separately, so true Zoro fans will probably end up collecting all three just to stay “canon accurate.”

The whole idea behind this collection is to bring the Straw Hat crew into everyday play. Kids can run around as pirates hunting for the One Piece. Fans can cosplay without needing metal weapons that scare airport security. And parents can pretend this is all for the children while clearly having too much fun themselves.
The timing could not be better. With One Piece season 2 sailing onto Netflix on March 10, this gear turns watching the show into a full-on lifestyle choice. Watch an episode, grab a blaster, shout something about treasure, and immediately regret it when your sibling fires back.
As for pricing, the Going Merry Blaster is already sailing at Target for about US$19.99. Zoro’s foam katanas, each 24 inches or 609 millimeters long, will start showing up at Walmart from March 22 for around US$11.99 each. Ages are technically listed as six or eight and up, but let’s be honest, nobody checks their birth certificate before swinging foam swords.
