New Tech That Will Change Our Behaviors

Tech moves at lightning speeds. If you blink, you might just miss a Bitcoin investment opportunity, a new virtual reality game or the latest robot to do the housework. But what new tech will change our everyday behaviors in 2020 and beyond? Well, here are our forecast:

1. Driver-less Cars
Driver-less cars will become the future of our roads. These machines will be pre-programmed to take us where we need to be at the time we need to be there. What will be the most significant change once these machines are navigating traffic? Well, it would give us more time to do other things while on journeys, maybe catch up on work, text our spouse without safety concerns, or perhaps allow us to start gaming…

2. Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is the next significant milestone in technological advancement. Although the tech has yet to be perfected and rolled out to the masses, when it does, expect shock waves to be sent through every industry. From marketing to gaming, every campaign or new title will revolve around virtual reality.

Some virtual reality games have already been invented, but virtual reality games in a casino could even create new jobs. Imagine working in a virtual reality casino as a dealer or host? It really is possible, but the big-name casinos are holding out until virtual reality is perfect before venturing into these possibilities, with the cost of games and suitable hardware to enjoy a VR casino properly being the greatest barrier. For now, you can still enjoy lifelike live dealer games at most reputable casinos.

3. Internet of Things (Hyper Connectivity!)
Don’t we already have IoT devices? We do, but the future of IoT will be more connected than ever, thanks to new inventions and super fast 5G networks. Most IoT devices are controlled via smartphone apps, such as an app to check in on home security cameras. But the connectivity will go next level in the future. Your alarm clock will control your coffee machine, and your coffee machine will then manage your shower, which will then open the garage door for you to journey to work in your driverless car.

4. Smart Houses
IoT devices will play into the hands of making our home smarter. Different appliances will control each other to make our homes work for us. But houses could get more intelligent in other ways. The individual appliances are going to get better. From fridges that can detect food that is about to go out of date to bathroom mirrors that transform into TV screens, expect house appliances and decor to be much more remarkable in the near future.

5. Blockchain Technology
Blockchain is one of the most disruptive technologies out there. Yet, if you mention it to any non-tech-savvy circle, you’ll be met with blank faces and raised eyebrows. But everyone will use blockchains in the future even if they don’t realize it. The secure ledger can store our data securely, track packages across the globe, and for those participating in the financial revolution, they will use it to make payments from their bitcoin wallets.
