I hope your excitement for self-lacing shoes hasn’t die because the world’s first actual self-lacing shoes, Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, is set to be available globally over the next few months. It will be available via Nike SNKRS in North America, Japan and China. The shoes will also be available starting September 29 across 19 European countries, including the UK, Germany, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands at 9AM CET. EU residents can get their hands, or in this case, feet, on this high-tech sneakers via the Nike SNKRS app, Nike said. In addition, those who rather not acquire it through the app can look to pick them up from brick-and-mortar stores as listed below:
- Japan on September 23 at Nike Harajuku, NIKELAB MA5, and DSM Ginza.
- China on September 17 at Nike Huaihai Brand Experience Store, Nike Guangzhou Brand Experience Store, EC Mall Nike and Jordan Basketball Experience Store, NIKELAB X158 Shanghai, and NIKELAB DSM PEK.
- London on September 29 at Niketown London.
For Niketown London, consumers will need to book their appointment via the Nike app starting September 25 to try on the product. So, Londoners, take note. As for North America, the release dates will be as per listed on SNKRS. You can get the app for Android and iOS HERE and HERE.
