have you ever wonder what would Kevin Durant be if he wasn’t a professional basketball player? the newly announced Nike Zoom KD IV Weatherman Edition should give you a hint to that answer. apparently, weatherman was Durant’s childhood dream job. of course, he didn’t go that route but this pair of weather map inspired colorway sneakers should be at least be a consolation for that failed weatherman dream. aside from its eye-catching green front upper, the shoes feature a thermal weather map design on its back heel through to the sides, backgrounding behind the lime green Nike logo and that’s not all: flip the sneakers over, that familiar thermal weather map continues on the sole but this time, it imitates the thermal pattern of Durant’s feet. aesthetic aside, these shoes features Hyperfuse upper for durability and breathability, Zoom Air Unit for responsive cushioning, improved lateral support, and for the first time on a basketball shoe, the Adaptive Fit system that offers lock-down forefront and arch for constant support to the wearer’s feet. beautiful footwear, so much so that if i ever buy them, i probably wouldn’t wear them. the Nike Zoom KD IV Weatherman Edition will be available from December 10 via the House of Hoops and as for the price, it is to be advised. hop past the jump for a few more images.
