Oppo Find N series is back with a new foldable, and this time, it is shaking up the industry real hard with a new folding tech that makes it virtually crease-free, and promises to remain so even over a long period of use. We read from some initial reviews that you can still kind of see the crease after multiple folds, but when you run your fingers over it, you will not feel the crease.

In fact, that’s exactly how Oppo markets it, as “zero-feel crease.” But seriously, we need to see it for ourselves to believe it. That said, if Oppo is reading this, can we please have a unit to review? Lol. But who am I kidding, right? Thanks to an update by Google two years ago, we have gone from half a million page views monthly to under 100K. Sigh. Anyhoo, moving on…
Breakthrough in Hinge Design and Screen Material
Oppo achieved what was thought impossible while having stellar dust and water resistance. We are talking about IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings. This means the Find N6 [CH] is able to withstand splashes, jets, immersion, and, of course, everyday dust.
The secret sauce for this ultra-flat, ultra-smooth foldable screen is in the precision hinge engineering and Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass. The 2nd-generation Titanium Flexion Hinge found on the new Find N6 boasts industry-first 3D Liquid Printing and the Clover Balance Pivot, which combine to create a flatter display with a shallower crease.
Oppo said the hinge is a whopping 75% flatter and 20% stronger compared to the Find N5. Meanwhile, the Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass, which is built to resist impact and pressure, smooths out the crease on its own accord when the phone is unfolded. It is kind of like self-healing glass, if you may.
On the outside, the external display benefits from an ultra-thin Nanocrystal Glass, protecting the cover screen against drops, punctures, and whatnot—all without bumping up the thickness. Moving outwards, there is the shielded aluminum alloy frame, crafted from aviation-grade aluminum alloy for a balance between strength and lightness. Aluminum is an interesting choice of material for a device this thin. You would think Oppo would go for titanium, but it did not, for reasons unknown to us.

Ultra-Bright, Eye-Friendly Display That Goes Down to 1 Nit
The displays promise “dawn to dusk comfort” with a 1 nit Eye Comfort Display. Both the cover screen and the main display have a 1-nit minimum brightness and a 1–120 Hz refresh rate. The 6.62-inch cover screen, which is an FHD+ OLED, has a peak brightness of 3600 nits, while the main screen, which is an 8.12-inch AMOLED flexible display with QXGA+ resolution, tops out at 2500 nits. It has TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 Certification. In this area, AI Eye Care intelligently balances color, brightness, and flicker, in addition to Eye Comfort Reminders, all in the name of putting less stress on your windows to your soul.
Slim, Light, and Still Not the Thinnest
The new Find N6 is super slim too, though the title of king of thin is still Honor Magic V6 to keep. The new foldable from Oppo measures 8.93 mm when closed, 4.21 mm when opened, and tips the scales at 225 g. The cover screen has an incredibly narrow bezel, at just 1.4 mm.
Smart Features That Go Beyond Just Hardware
The phone features an additional hardware button, called Snap Key, that lets you assign what you want within reach with a press of a key. And then there’s the Pocket AI Workstation that leverages the expansive display for desktop-class multitasking and more. Speaking of productivity, it is Oppo AI Pen compatible, the first AI stylus engineered for foldables. Also in the area of productivity, ColorOS offers a bunch of AI features, including AI Recording, AI Mind Space, et cetera.
And who can forget its ability to play well with iPhone to do things like receive calls, messages, and app notifications from your iPhone. Why? I have no idea. Anyhoo, it also touts tap to share media and files instantly with any compatible device. It connects to PC, too. You can mirror your phone to your computer and work across screens.

The Cameras
Enough of dreadful work. Let’s get into the fun stuff, a.k.a. imaging. The new Find N6 rocks what Oppo calls the “ultimate camera,” the Hasselblad Master Camera System.
It features a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with a 15 mm landscape focal length (lovely!), an optically stabilized 50 MP periscope telephoto with a 70 mm portrait focal length and an impressive 120x Super Zoom, and a 200 MP Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Camera with a 23 mm focal length, featuring a large 1/1.56” sensor with a wide aperture, and, of course, OIS. There is also a True Color Camera, which is a multispectral sensor. On both the cover screen and the main display, there is a 20 MP camera.
Under the Hood: Snapdragon Power, Battery, and Performance
Chipset and Performance
The new Oppo foldable is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with Trinity Engine. The latter optimizes resources for smooth multitasking, stable high-frame-rate video, and power-efficient performance that extends battery life.
Battery and Charging
Speaking of battery, it packs a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery for all-day use. We are talking about 26 hours of video marathon, or 25.8 hours of too-much-for-your-own-good social media browsing. It is bolstered by intelligent power management that adapts to your usage, maximizing capacity and preserving battery health for longevity.
When the juice is low, you can count on 80 W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50 W AIRVOOC wireless charging to get you back on the road quickly. It takes just 47 minutes to go from 1 to 100% with SuperVOOC, and 80 minutes with AIRVOOC.

Fast Memory and Storage
Memory is key to having a smoother experience, and fast memory this device has. It uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Over in China, it is offered in a choice of 12+256 GB, 16+512 GB, plus a 16+1 TB satellite communication edition, but it differs by region. And yes, it has been launched globally, too.
Strong Signals with AI LinkBoost and NetworkBoost Chip
As all iPhone users know, a phone is no good if it does not have good signal strength, and so, Oppo has AI LinkBoost, as well as Oppo’s NetworkBoost Chip S1 and Fold Antenna Matrix. AI LinkBoost intelligently strengthens your signal in real time. Meanwhile, a dedicated network chip, fold-optimized antennas, and scenario-aware switching deliver faster speeds, lower latency, and stable connections for gaming, streaming, calling, or being on the move.
The Rest of the Spec Sheet
Other notables include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, Adreno 840 @ 1200 MHz GPU, dual SIM support (nano), eSIM support, 2G–5G radios, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and earlier, tri-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0 LE, BLE Audio, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C interface), and the usual suspects of sensors and positioning.
Pricing and Availability
Available in Blossom Orange and Stellar Titanium, which is a silver/grey kind of color, really. The Oppo Find N6 has been launched in China, starting at 9,999 yuan [CH] (~US$1,455). It has also been launched elsewhere, like Singapore (S$2,249), Australia (price TBA), Malaysia (price TBA, pre-order with RM200 deposit), Vietnam (64,990,000 dong), New Zealand (price TBA), Thailand (price TBA), and Saudi Arabia (price TBA).
