While the rest of the world is going head over heels for the new Redmagic 9 Pro, Transformers fans in China are in for a treat. That’s right, there’s going to be a collaborative Redmagic 9 device with Transformers, starting with everyone’s favorite hero from Cybertron: Bumblebee. This year, Bumblebee will lend its iconic yellow color and imagery to the Redmagic 9 Pro. However, if you have your eye on this device, you might want to wait a bit longer because there could be an Optimus Prime version like last year—though I could be wrong, so don’t take my word for it.
The new Redmagic 9 Pro x Bumblebee Limited Collectors’ Edition [CH] is expected to be unveiled on March 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM in China, during the Redmagic Esports Universe New Products Reveal Event. But to be honest, as far as the Redmagic 9 Pro x Bumblebee Limited Collectors’ Edition is concerned, we don’t need an official event to know what to expect. You can look forward to a yellow-and-black see-through Redmagic 9 Pro, complete with the Bumblebee movie logo, and the Autobots emblem.
It also includes a 165W GaN charger in Bumblebee’s yellow, featuring the movie logo and Bumblebee’s image. There will also be a Bumblebee-themed Redmagic Cooler 4 Pro and a SIM ejector tool featuring the Autobots logo. The phone is expected to come preloaded with an all-new custom Bumblebee UI, including brand-new icons and more.
That’s not all. Also debuting with Bumblebee branding and colors are the Redmagic Cooler 5 Pro, a smartphone game controller, a gaming keyboard, and a gaming mouse. More details will be announced on the aforementioned date. The phone will go on sale on the day of the reveal event [CH]. Pricing is, of course, not revealed yet.
