What has a 1,500 horses 727 cu-in HEMI engine and is capable of tearing through any terrain with blunt, brute force, leaving behind track marks? Well, it is certainly not a Jeep. Neither is it a Chrysler, or Dodge. In fact, those rides will be deemed tame by what you about to witness here: Ripsaw EV3-F1 Single Seater Super Tank. Now, do not mistaken this with the Ripsaw EV3-F4, which is a four-seater. This baby here is a solo ride and you know what that means. It means you can do whatever the hell you like when you are behind the wheel. And you will want to do whatever the hell you like because, it is the most extreme and most terrain dominant Ripsaw to date.
It is powerful. It is agile, and it is absolutely brutal. With up to 1,500 HP, it boasts a heavenly .2 HP/lbs power-to-weight ratio – attributed by its lightweight construction consisting of high strength aerospace grade steel, aluminum and composites (it weighs just 7,750 lbs, or 3515 kg, btw). Coupled that with a wide 112 inches of ground contact and no less than 16 inches of suspension, the EV3-F1 is ready for anywhere (even sand dunes!), capable of going up to a top speed of 75 miles an hour (120 km/h). Like the F4, it also touts a “floating” cabin, along with 5-point racing harness and racing seat, to ensure maximum level of comfort and safety no matter how violent you put it through.
Other details include “fly by wire” steering, military-grade high-speed tracks, extreme duty automatic transmission, easy maintenance, extreme duty final drive system, high intensity lighting, dual LED dune whips and the option of going the distance with optional dual fuel tank setup. And oh, did we mention that it can do donuts and pull wheelies as well? Yup. It totally can. All these for a luxurious starting price of half a million dollars. Skip ahead to see it in action.
