Are you a fan of brick-built characters like LEGO Baby Groot, and LEGO Chewbacca? Well, we are going to point you to a LEGO MOC that, after seeing it, you will not look at a brick-built character the same again. In fact, I think you may not want to look at another brick-built character again.
Folks, what you see here is a LEGO sculpture of Davin Feith otherwise known as TK-1023, a Galactic Empire’s Sandtrooper Sergent. But wait… who’s Davin? Well, not going to lie. I never know who Davin Feith or TK-1023 was but he was a sandtrooper that somehow got an unnecessarily lengthy write-up on starwars.fandom.com.
This dude is best remembered for his iconic line “Look, sir! Droids!” TBH, that quote does not ring a bell for me. I guess I am not such a big fan of Star Wars as I thought. But it does not matter. What matters is that this work of art really is a LEGO sculpture and it is huge. Like, you know, 5,106 bricks and 47.1 cm (1.55 feet or 19 inches) kind of huge.
Dubbed SA-Project 001 and created by Mirko Soppelsa who has a penchant for going big with his builds, this Sandtrooper named Davin not only impresses with size but also how solidly and detailed it looks. Absolutely amazing.
The SA-Project 001 is not only large-scale LEGO Star Wars built by Mirko Soppelsa; he has several others, including a KS-SO, plus a few spaceships. Mirko’s creations are certainly worth checking out.
