Good news fans of LEGO who also love Guardians of the Galaxy! LEGO has a collectors-worthy set for you: the LEGO Marvel I am Groot Buildable Figure (76217).
That’s right. Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has found his place with the growing LEGO collectible buildable figure sets, along with the likes of the Baby Yoda, Master Yoda, and General Grievous.
And surprise, surprise. The 76217 comes with a UCS-style information plaque with basic info presented in the flora colossus’ language that I guess only Rocket Raccoon knows how to read.
Why? Well, do you know what is the height “I am Groot” is, or the age “I… Am… Groot!”? No? That’s why we need Rocket.
For some reason, the Baby Groot set also comes with a pretend cassette tape. Strange that it is not a handheld gaming device. Oh, right. That was for Teenage, oh-so-rebellious, Groot.
The LEGO Marvel I am Groot set contains a modest 476 pieces and when completed, it measures over 10.5 inches tall (26 cm). The figure is, of course, poseable.
