Let’s face it. Home appliances are monotonous. Sure, some are sleek but they are hardly eye-catching. This is where Samsung Bespoke Appliances aims to make a difference. Samsung has recently introduced its bespoke appliances in Singapore, starting with eight Disney-themed designs, featuring endearing characters like Mickey, Donald, Pluto, and more.
The designs range from retro-inspired themes to more fantastical-looking patterns, allowing fans to express their personal aesthetics while showing their love for their favorite characters. The Samsung Bespoke Disney Collection is available in Singapore at select consumer electronics retailer stores, starting at S$2,349.
The bespoke collection is only for refrigerators which kind of makes sense since it has no heat issues and has a large surface area for graphics.
Meanwhile, across the strait in Indonesia, Samsung celebrates the 77th anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day by partnering with two Indonesian illustrators, Kathrin Honesta and Rachel Ajeng, to showcase limited-edition designs on the Bespoke refrigerator and AirDresser.
In this collection, customers can choose from three designs, namely, “Butterfly Garden” or “Timun Mas” by Kathrin Honesta or “Reimagine Indonesia” by Rachel Ajeng.
Over in the U.S., there is a limited-edition collection of panels for Samsung’s Bespoke refrigerator launched in collaboration with Lowe’s. The panels are designed by Alexa Meade, Amber Vittoria , and Domonique Brown.
Each edition incorporates the artists’ signature styles and distinct points of view, allowing American shoppers to let their own personal styles shine through.
In addition, the panels will be introduced soon to allow customers to display their favorite artwork, family photos, and whatnot on the customizable French doors of the Bespoke refrigerator which can also be personalized in various colors and finishes.
Bespoke appliances are being launched across the border, down south, in Mexico. Samsung has opened a Bespoke Home flagship store at the Centro Comercial Perisur.
Finally, across the oceans in Poland, Samsung has taken its Bespoke refrigerator into an art piece that was auctioned (yes, auctioned) at the DESA Unicum. The Samsung Bespoke refrigerator that was auctioned features an image of the Chateau de Fontainebleau by French artist Thibaud Hérem.
