Second Generation Xos Hub Mobile DC Fast Charging

It is a mobile charging solution that is rapidly deployable that enables flexible and scalable access to DC fast charging without the need for permanent infrastructure. This means it allows the adoption of a fleet of electric trucks even without fixed infrastructure.

The second generation Xos Hub features integrated battery storage with an energy capacity of 390 kWh and an increase in charger output by 60% over the first generation Hub. This allows for faster charge times for EVs plugged into it. It is outfitted with five CCS 1 chargeheads that work with both commercial and passenger EVs, enabling up to five EVs to be charged simultaneously.

“The introduction of a telematics device and Xos software help determine the best charging times for the Hub based on off-peak and peak hours, helping mitigate electricity costs for fleets… the Xos Hub solves a multitude of current challenges that fleet owners and operators face. With the Xos Hub, DC fast charging is now easy, mobile, and available now.”
