Much like the Honey, I Shrunk the Sega Genesis Mini, the new Mega Drive Mini 2 looks exactly like the regular size Mega Drive Mini 2 from yesteryears, which is super cool!

In addition, the mini console will come with a 6-button control pad. Plus, the original controllers from the Sega Mega Drive Mini are also compatible with this new mini console.

The new Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 will feature 60 titles from Sega’s illustrious back catalog, including, for the first time, titles from the Mega CD era, sequels to hit titles, ports of popular arcade games, and previously unreleased games, including titles like Final Fight, Fatal Fury 2, OutRun, Sonic 3D, Sonic CD, Super Street Fighter II, Virtua Racing, The Revenge of Shinobi, Super Hang-On, and more.

The console measures 120.8 mm wide, 32.3 mm high, and 116.5 mm deep (4.76 x 1.27 x 4.59 inches), and comes supplied with the aforementioned controller, a high-speed HDMI cable, and a USB power cable.

The new Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 Video Game Console will hit the Japanese market on October 27 for 9,980 yen (about US$70). the Sega Genesis Mini 2 is also available to Japan market too.
