Hot on the heels of the third teaser of the new Ultraman movie is the official trailer of the Shin Ultraman. I don’t believe in the past teasers we have seen any kaiju that threatens Japan. But we definitely see some of them in the official trailer which is nearly three times longer than the teasers. Obviously, there are going to be spoilers and as such, you should turn away at this point if spoilers make you nauseous.

Shin Ultraman Official Trailer

Anyways, moving on… we counted at least three kaiju in the trailer. One of them is actually human-size (pictured up top). Or was it not a kaiju? I don’t know. Whatever it is, my interest is definitely piqued! Since this is an official trailer, expect to see more, including Takumi Saitoh triggering the Transformation Item to become Shin Ultraman.

While the teasers and trailers did show us a bunch but the production team is careful not to divulge what I thought to be the essence of this first-ever live-action silver screen Ultraman movie and that is the origin. How Ultraman came to be on Earth and how this hero of the galaxy ended up merging with a human to fight building size creatures.

Perhaps, you will get more out of the trailer if you understand the Japanese language. Unfortunately, the trailer does not have an English sub which is a shame since there are a ton of non-Japanese speaking fans too.
