Video game controller is functional, but not necessarily the prettiest. If you think the same, you may want to consider souping up your controller with splashes of 24K gold for a touch of class, but if that’s a little on the ostentatious side (it is, btw), you can look forward to one that’s clad in solid walnut and aluminum, like this one designed by Kansas City-based Kem Studio for New York lifestyle gaming brand SON, for some extra elegant gaming experience.
The controller, dubbed ‘S1’, is designed for grown up gamers, boasting features like a solid walnut face, an oversize aluminum base to fit adult hands, height-adjustable joysticks to fit virtually all kind of thumbs out there and most importantly, it lacks of the cheap plastic and colorful buttons that are commonly found on regular units. SON, btw, has a motto of “welcome to gaming grown up” and so you can imagine why they have requested Kem Studio produce such a controller.
We have seen our fair share of game controller, but as far as sophistication goes, we think the SON Video Game Controller by Kem Studio wins hands down. Before you rush to grab one, you have to know that there’s no word on its availability, neither was the price announced. Though rest assure, it won’t be cheap as it is, after all, from a “luxury video gaming brand.” And oh, also, we do not know if the controller is for Playstation, Xbox or PC, or all. I guess we will have to wait to hear more about it.
