While Sony’s next-generation video game console, the PlayStation 5, broke cover months ahead of its rival (that’s the Xbox Series X), the company did not reveal the price nor the availability. That changes earlier today when it gave us the numbers (and a date).
The PS5 will be available in seven key markets, namely, the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, starring on November 12, 2020.
Global rollout will begin on November 19 with the console reaching countries in Europe, Middle East, South America, Asia and South Africa.
Pre-orders will kick off tomorrow (September 17) at select retailers.
Along with the announcement of the availability and pricing, Sony Interactive Entertainment also reveal the first few games for the next-gen console and they includes Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition), Sony PlayStation exclusive Final Fantasy XVI, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Hogwarts Legacy, and a new God of War title.
These games are in addition to those announced previously during the official revealing. Expect each copy of the games to cost anywhere from US$49.99 to US$69.99.
