whether you are a social network freak or someone who loathe smartphones for their complexity, Sony Mobile has your back covered. it has just announced two new Android-powered handsets, namely, the Xperia miro and the Xperia tipo, that will keep your social network addict in you satisfied and get non-smartphone users started in the awesome world of smartphone. the former is billed as “the fun social smartphone”, while the latter is an affordable smartphone that is easy to use, geared towards first time smartphone users. the miro bears the Xperia signature look that we are quite familiar by now and features deep integration of Facebook throughout the user’s contacts, photo gallery and music player for sharing and “discovery.”

some of the features include 800MHz Qualcomm (MSM7225A) processor, 3.5″ anti-reflection coated TFT touchscreen display, 5.0-megapixel autofocus main camera with LED flash, front-facing camera, Sony’s xLOUD audio technology for crisp and loud sound, customizable illuminations for incoming messages and social updates, DLNA connectivity and an incredible 24 hours of usage time. as for the tipo, it is equipped with a 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.2″ scratch-resistant mineral glass display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a dedicated set-up guide to help first time user get their phone up and going, a built-in app for users to monitor their data usage, and a 1500 mAh battery that offers up to 24 hours of usage time. additionally, the tipo will also be offered in a dual SIM version, known as the Xperia tipodual.
