Not every content creator (read: YouTuber) can afford a 2 to 3,000 dollars rig to record their show. Understanding this and the need of content creation, Sony has revealed the ZV-1. ZV-1 is a newly designed from the ground up for content creators and vloggers, regardless of their skill level.
Key features include a 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip, 24-70 mm f1.8-2.8 ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T large-aperture lens, paired to the latest generation BIONZ X image processor with LSI for high-res, low noise images.
It further boasts versatile audio options, side-opening Vari-angle LCD monitor, 4K movie recording, connects to PC via USB for live-streaming, up to 960fpsSuper Slow Motion recording and in-body image stabilization – just to name a few.
All the aforementioned and more for a little than the price of a 128 GB model iPhone 11, or US$799.99. If you are already using an iPhone 11, it certainly makes sense to switch up to a dedicated device for your video content creation. It will definitely be more pro than an iPhone.
And you will want to switch it up now because, from now until June 28, the Sony ZV-1 is going at an introductory price of just US$749.99. It is available from several online retailers, including B&H, Amazon, Best Buy, Adorama, Samy’s Camera, Mike’s Camera, Bedford, Focus, Art, and PROCAM.
