The two new noise-canceling headphones are Soundcore Space Q45 and Space A40. The former is a pair of over-ear headphones while the latter is a pair of TWS earbuds.

The Soundcore Space Q45 has a long list of features. For a start, it has a 4-mic hybrid noise-canceling system that Soundcore said is capable of blocking up to 98% of outside noise.

In addition, it has an adaptive noise canceling that automatically optimizes the ANC level based on ambient noise. And then, there’s, of course, the passthrough mode aka transparent mode which has 5 levels to choose from.

Under each earcup is a 40 mm double-layer diaphragm driver that is reportedly made of silk and metal-ceramic material. Just to be clear… we said “reportedly” because we can’t find it explicitly mentioned on the product page.

Other features include Bluetooth 5.3 that supports connection with two devices simultaneously (like what the second-gen AirPods Pro touts), supports LDAC, Hi-Res Wired, and Wireless certification, a pretty impressive 50 hours of battery life (or 65 without ANC turned off), and quick charge that will get you four hours with just five-minute of charging.

Meanwhile, the Soundcore Space A40 boasts adaptive active noise canceling technology that Soundcore also claims to offer up to 98 percent noise reduction.

Similarly, the earbuds also have a one-touch transparency mode for times when you need to be aware of your environment.

Further bolstering the noise reduction are the silicone ear tips which Soundcore has packed in five sizes to ensure you get the perfect fit and thus, perfect seal.

On the audio delivery, Space A40 promised to deliver “pumping bass and crisp treble but well-balanced audio of all frequencies” through the 10 mm drivers.

The audio experience is further enhanced through a feature called HearID Sound available in the companion app. This feature analyzes how you hear music and create a custom sound profile that is supposed to be tuned for your ears.

Other highlights include Bluetooth 5.2 with multipoint connection, support LDAC and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, IPX4 waterproofing, and 10 hours of battery life in between charges without ANC (or 8 with ANC), and a total of 50 hours with the charging case.

There’s also fast charging too. 10-minutes of charging via USB-C or a Qi wireless charging pad will yield 4 hours of battery life.

If anyone’s interested, the Soundcore Space Q45 Noise Canceling Headphones and Soundcore Space A40 Noise Canceling Earbuds can be had now for US$149.99 and US$99.99, respectively.
